Abstract

The author assumes that the natural objective of production, namely the production of various utility values will only become the basic objective of the formation in socialism. Other economic laws, in particular laws of development of needs, division according to work, planned development of social production and economy of time should be taken into consideration and properly employed to accomplish that objective. The author points to the fact that consumption is not only a result of production but also an important factor affecting the whole process of social reproduction. He puts forward several postulates resulting from the needs affecting production, exchange, division and consumption.
