Abstract

Treść monografii stanowią opracowane naukowo protokoły posiedzeń Rady Ministrów Księstwa Warszawskiego z I półrocza 1810 roku. Dokumenty te obrazują działalność władz rządowych Księstwa Warszawskiego i pozwalają śledzić zmiany zachodzące w funkcjonowaniu władz centralnych tego państwa. Stanowią niezastąpione źródło do różnorodnych badań nad historią ziem polskich tego okresu - Rada Ministrów bowiem z czasem stała się rzeczywistym rządem Księstwa i pod nieobecność króla Fryderyka Augusta w Warszawie niemalże samodzielnie prowadziła politykę państwa we wszystkich jej aspektach.

The book contains the academically compiled minutes of meetings of the Council of Ministers of the Duchy of Warsaw from the first half of 1810. The Minutes of the Council of Ministers illustrate the activities of the governmental authorities of the Duchy of Warsaw and make it possible to follow the changes taking place in the functioning of the central authorities of that state. They are an indispensable source for various studies on the history of Poland of that period. This is because, over time, the Council of Ministers became the real government of the Duchy, and in the absence of King Frederick Augustus in Warsaw, it conducted state policy in all its aspects almost independently.
