Metaanaliza kontekstu konstrukcji teorii B. F. Skinnera, E. Fromma i C. Rogersa wobec konfliktu o wolność woli

Abstract

Celem pracy jest krytyczna, pogłębiona analiza kontekstu odkrycia teorii Burrhusa Fredericka Skinnera, Ericha Fromma i Carla Rogersa. Badany jest związek między reprezentowanym przez psychologów typem determinizmu a redukcjonizmem istniejącym w ich teoriach. Rozpatrywany jest wpływ czynników historycznych, społeczno-kulturowych i psychologicznych, w tym ukrytych przedzałożeń, na kształtowanie się preferowanej przez badaczy idei woli. W ramach metaanalizy kontekstu konstrukcji teorii Skinnera, Fromma i Rogersa rekonstruowany jest proces ewolucji kategorii woli w psychologii amerykańskiej. Wskazane są możliwe przyczyny istniejącego w niej redukcjonizmu. Rozprawa stanowi podstawę do badań w temacie kontekstu konstrukcji teorii psychologicznych i krytycznego podejścia do założeń ich twórców.

The purpose of this paper is a critical, in-depth analysis of the context of discovery of theories by Burrhus Frederick Skinner, Erich Fromm and Carl Rogers. The dissertation examines the relationship between the type of determinism represented by psychologists and the reductionism that exists in their theories. It considers the influence of historical, socio-cultural and psychological factors, including implicit assumptions, on the formation of the researchers' preferred idea of will. Within the framework of a meta-analysis of the context of Skinner's, Fromm's and Rogers' theory construction, the process of evolution of the category of will in American psychology is reconstructed, and the possible reasons for the reductionism existing in it are indicated. The dissertation provides a basis for consideration in the context of construction of psychological theories and a critical approach to the assumptions of their creators.
