Słownictwo rzemiosł skórzanych w polszczyźnie historycznej

Abstract

Głównym celem rozprawy doktorskiej jest zgromadzenie i scharakteryzowanie w perspektywie historycznej leksyki rzemiosł skórzanych. Badania źródłowe przeprowadzone zostały na materiale leksykograficznym. Wyeskscerpowany ze słowników historycznych polszczyzny materiał uzupełniono o słownictwo zarejestrowane w innych słownikach języka polskiego, słownikach gwar miejskich, słownikach rzemieślniczych oraz opracowaniach o charakterze leksykograficznym, a następnie poddano analizie semantycznej, funkcjonalnej i strukturalnej. Rozprawa składa się z trzech rozdziałów. W pierwszym zawarto przegląd 9 leksykalno–semantyczny pól tematycznych (i dalej podpól) odpowiadających poszczególnym rzemiosłom skórzanym, słownictwu im wspólnemu oraz nazwom skór. Rozdział drugi obejmuje analizę żywotności wyekscerpowanych wyrazów, wskazaną na podstawie rejestracji w wykorzystanych w pracy słownikach oraz zamieszczonych tam egzemplifikacji źródłowych, omówienie kształtowania się badanych zasobów na przestrzeni wieków oraz losów wyrazów przyporządkowanych temu zbiorowi, a także pokazanie prób polonizacji słownictwa rzemiosł skórzanych. W rozdziale trzecim przeanalizowano pochodzenie badanego słownictwa z podziałem na rodzime oraz zapożyczenia.Integralną częścią niniejszej rozprawy jest słownik tematyczno-alfabetyczny słownictwa rzemiosł skórzanych, skonstruowany w oparciu o stosowany w pracy podział leksykalno-semantyczny słownictwa.The main objective of the doctoral thesis is to collect and characterize in a historic perspective the lexis of leather crafts. The source research was conducted on the basis of lexicographical material. The material excerpted from dictionaries of historic Polish language was completed with vocabulary registered in other dictionaries of Polish language, dictionaries of urban jargon, craft dictionaries and lexicographic studies and then it was the subject of semantic, functional and structural analysis.The dissertation consists of three chapters. The first one includes the survey of nine lexical-semantic thematic fields (and later sub-fields) corresponding to particular leather crafts, their common vocabulary and names of kinds of leather. Chapter two comprises the analysis of the life-span of excerpted words, indicated on the basis of their registration in the dictionaries used in the dissertation as well as the source exemplifications which they include, the discussion of the formation of the studied resources over centuries, and the fate of words assigned to this set, as well as the presentation of attempts to Polonize the leather craft vocabulary. In chapter three the origin of the studied vocabulary was analyzed with a division into the native and borrowed one.The integral part of the present dissertation is a thematic-alphabetic dictionary of leather craft constructed on the basis of the lexical-semantic division used in the thesis.
