Abstract

Adulthood is an interesting and worthwhile phase of human life and its course to some extent may also be dependent on how others perceive adult members of society. In the text I discuss selected environmental factors that affect the perception of adult persons with intellectual disabilities, referring to the theory of Urie Bronfenbrenera.
