Opozycje wobec chrześcijańskich transformacji sacrum

Abstract

Zbigniew Drozdowicz – OPPOSITIONS TOWARDS THE CHRISTIAN TRANSFORMATION OF THE SACRUM Standing for the defense of the sacred has as long traditions, as depreciation of what is being perceived as competition in the sacred sphere. In the European culture a significant meaning had and still have confrontations between the defendants of Christian sacrum and their non-Christian counterparts. They become visible already in the early years of Christianity and had gained on influ-ence in those groundbreaking moments, in which significant changes in values within this culture took place. Today, the list of opponents against the Christian transformations of the sacrum is not less longer and not less diverse then it was in the past. In this paper I recall those, who emerged in Poland. I wish to emphasize clearly, that the issue included in the paper's title has not just a global dimension, but also a number of local aspects and dimensions.
