Abstract

Presented land-use and development map of the zone of planned A2 motorway was based on vertical aerial photographs from 1941. Material produced during the process of photointerpretation established the basis for further comparative analysis of land-use changes in the year 1998, which means before motorway existed and in 2007, when motorway was fully operational. GIS tools were used for analysis of land-use changes and development dynamics between 1941 and 2007 in the zone of the motorway. Incorporated method allowed to perform spatial statistics of land-use transformations. The main result was a gradient of transformations of land-use in the area of A2 motorway in city of Poznań.
