Polityka jako przedmiot badań w realiach instrumentalizacji politologicznego rozumu

Abstract

Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej, autor prezentuje specyfikę dyscypliny nauk o polityce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem subdyscypliny: teoria polityki. Dokonuje diagnozy ich współczesnej kondycji – szczególnie w polskim kontekście. Wysuwa tezę o instrumentalizacji politologii. Wskazuję, iż jeśli głównym przedmiotem jej badań jest polityka, to badacze nie powinni stronić od prób jej zdefiniowania. Dopuszczenie pluralizmu teoretyczno-metodologicznego nic w tym względzie nie zmienia. W efekcie, w drugiej części artykułu prezentuje własną koncepcję definicyjną polityki.The article consists of two parts. In the first, the author presents the specifics of political science, with particular emphasis on political theory. He performs diagnosis of their contemporary condition, especially in the Polish context. He puts forward the thesis of the instrumentalization of political science. He points that if the main subject of political scientists research is a politics that they should not refrain from attempts to define it. Theoretical and methodological pluralism does not change anything in this regard. For this reason, in the second part of the article he shows own definition of politics.
