Integracja i dezintegracja w Europie Środkowej. Graniczne miasta bliźniacze jako laboratoria współpracy transgranicznej

Abstract

Celem prezentowanej analizy jest spojrzenie na procesy integracyjne i dezintegracyjne w Europie Środkowej przez pryzmat granicznych miast bliźniaczych. Tezą rozważań jest stwierdzenie, iż stan procesów integracyjnych widoczny z perspektywy granicy świadczy o motywowanej integracją kontynentalną deboundaryzacji, która w okresie poakcesyjnym ujawnia jednocześnie elementy zjawiska odwrotnego w postaci defrontieryzacji, zależnie od kategorii granic w regionie. Procesy te związane są z kontekstem relacji dwustronnych sąsiadujących państw, ale także z europeizacją granic wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych strefy Schengen.The purpose of this analysis is to take a look at integration and disintegration processes in Central Europe from the perspective of twin towns. The premise of the paper is the statement that the integration processes, as seen from the perspective of the border, evidence deboundarization, which is inspired by continental integration, but also show the presence of the contradictory phenomenon of defrontierization following accession. These processes depend on the category of boundaries in a region and are related to the context of bilateral relations between neighboring countries, as well as to the Europeanization of the internal and external borders of the Schengen zone.
