Krzyż i chora. Wprowadzenie do radykalnej hermeneutyki Johna D. Caputo

Abstract

Głównym celem rozprawy jest zaprezentowanie w jaki sposób radykalno-hermeneutyczne idee Johna D. Caputo można wykorzystać na polach etyki, teologii i teorii politycznej. W rozdziale poświęconym etycznym implikacjom radykalnej hermeneutyki, staram się pokazać jak z dekonstrukcji etyki wyrasta nowy typ filozofii praktycznej, który koncentruje się na pojęciu zobowiązania pozbawionego wsparcia metafizycznej etyki. Rekonstrukcja kontr-etyki Caputo skupia się na tematyce cierpiących ciał, poetyki zobowiązania, niewyrażalności bólu i postmodernistycznego podejścia do ludobójstwa Holocaustu. Rozdział poświęcony religii prezentuje podstawowe pojęcia teologii „słabego Boga”. Rozdział poświęcony teorii politycznej analizuje koncepcję radykalnej demokracji. W polemicznej części rozprawy idee Caputo są konfrontowane z teoriami Christophera Norrisa, Gilberta K. Chestertona, Slavoja Žižka, Martina Hägglunda i amerykańskich neokonserwatystów. The main aim of the dissertation is to present how the ideas of John D. Caputo’s radical hermeneutics can be used at the field of ethics, theology and political theory. In the chapter on ethical implications of radical hermeneutics I try to show how from deconstruction of ethics a new type of practical philosophy arises that concentrates on the notion of obligation without support of metaphysical ethics. The reconstruction of Caputo’s counter-ethics focuses on the themes of suffering flesh, poetics of obligation, inexpressibility of pain and the postmodern approach to the Holocaust genocide. The chapter on religion presents main notions of weak God theology. The chapter on political theory examines the conception of radical democracy. In polemical part of dissertation Caputo’s ideas are confronted with theories of Christopher Norris, Gilbert K. Chesterton, Slavoj Žižek, Martin Hägglund and American neoconservatives.
