Abstract

Przedmiotem książki jest refleksja nad miejscem, jakie „literatury mniejsze” Europy romańskiej zajmują w zmieniającej się rzeczywistości współczesnego świata, nad najnowszymi tendencjami ich rozwoju oraz wyzwaniami, jakie przychodzi im podejmować. Książka podzielona jest na kilka obszarów tematycznych. W części pierwszej zebrano artykuły dotyczące miejsca, transformacji i migracji „literatur mniejszych” w przestrzeni międzykulturowej. Następujące po niej teksty pokazują, jak ważnym elementem konstrukcji tożsamości indywidualnej i zbiorowej są odwołania do mitu. Prace prezentowane w kolejnym rozdziale omawiają sposoby, na jakie literatury mniejsze wykorzystują powinowactwa i różnice między historią a mitem.The volume is an attempt to analyze the tension which the "minor literatures" of Romance Europe create between history and myth. The articles included herein address various aspects of the topic, such as the subject's and the community's attitude to their own history and myth, the relation between remembrance and oblivion, migration of myth, the phenomenon of acquisition and reinterpretation of alien myths and histories, placing them in the context of identity issues, and the changes occurring in the modem intercultural and globalized world.
