Metafora pojęciowa jako narzędzie rekonstruowania językowego obrazu świata w socjolekcie rowerowym

Abstract

Autor próbuje wykazać, że koncepcja metafory pojęciowej stanowi efektywne narzędzie rekonstruowania językowego obrazu świata. Rozważania ilustrowane są przykładami specyfi cznego użycia słów w obrębie socjolektu rowerowego. W tekście analizie poddane zostały następujące metafory konceptualne: ROWER TO KOŃ, A ROWERZYSTA TO JEŹDZIEC i PELETON TO TKANINA.(Conceptual Metaphor as a Tool for the Reconstruction of the Linguistic Image of the World in the Bike Sociolect). The author attempts to show that the idea of conceptual metaphor is an effi cient tool for reconstructing the image of the world contained in language. The problem is exemplifi ed by specifi c usages of words within the Polish bike slang. In the text the following conceptual metaphors are studied: A BIKE IS A HORSE AND A BIKER IS A RIDER and A PELOTON IS A PIECE OF FABRIC.
