Abstract
Oferuje on bowiem odbiorcy wielość punktów do zaczepienia i prowadzenia wzroku. Artykuł porusza kwestie zachowań odbiorcy podczas czytania: wizualnego gromadzenia informacji oraz przełączania uwagi pomiędzy tekstowymi oraz obrazowymi elementami współczesnych tekstów wielomodalnych.
Modern printed and digital media are visually fragmented: they are built up of various visual elements and units. They are also multimodal: they contain delimited parts of text, static and dynamic pictures, graphics and additional parts. A typical page layout, navigational appearance, visual and interactivity design are not viewed as major factors in reading. The way visual cues are structured and the way interaction is designed can make an important difference to ease and make reading and meaning–making more effective. It means that media message is multisequential: it offers various entry points and reading paths. This paper focuses on the user behavior during reading: visual information gathering and switching attention between textual and pictorial elements.
