Korona św. Stefana jako źródło suwerenności Węgier i fundament konstytucjonalizmu węgierskiego

Abstract

W niniejszym tekście autorzy pokazują wpływ korony św. Stefana na kształtowanie się węgierskiej kultury i tradycji prawnej, jako że korona w dalszym ciągu pozostaje symbolem narodu i państwa. Jest gwarantem stabilności i bezpieczeństwa, który umożliwia Węgrom przetrwanie i stałą kontynuację dziedzictwa narodowego. Tekst ten ukazuje także rolę jaką odgrywała korona w sporządzaniu najważniejszych aktów prawnych w historii Węgier takich jak: „Bulla z 1222” czy „Ustawy Marcowe z 1848 r.”. Rola korony jest nieporównywalna z żadnym innym elementem węgierskiego dziedzictwa.In the article the authors present the impact of the Crown of Saint Stephen on the formation of Hungarian legal culture and tradition, since the Crown still remains a symbol of the nation and the state in general. It is a guarantee of stability and security which enables the Hungarian people to survive and continue the national heritage. This article also demonstrates the role of the Crown in drafting the most important legal acts in the history of Hungary, such as “Golden Bull of 1222” and "March Acts of 1848". The role of the Crown is incomparable with any other element of Hungarian statehood.
