Oprawa "Homiliarum" z pełnopostaciowym wyciskiem radełka jagiellońskiego w zbiorach Archiwum Archidiecezjalnego w Gnieźnie

Abstract

Artykuł prezentuje oprawę Homiliarum z pełnopostaciowym radełkiem jagiellońskim przedstawiającym najprawdopodobniej Zygmunta I Starego i Bonę (ewentualnie Albrechta I Hohenzollerna). Opisywany wolumin odnaleziono w zasobie dawnej biblioteki seminaryjnej znajdującej się w zbiorach Archiwum Archidiecezjalnego w Gnieźnie. Na podstawie badań wycisku radełka oraz wpisów proweniencyjnych określam przypuszczalny czas i miejsce powstania narzędzia. W dalszej części artykułu przedstawiam jeszcze trzy woluminy, których oprawy z dużym prawdopodobieństwem pochodzą z tego samego warsztatu introligatorskiego. Dzięki ich analizie udało się nakreślić przypuszczalny czas i miejsce działania introligatora, który posługiwał się wspomnianym radełkiem jagiellońskim. The article presents the binding of the Homiliarum with a full image imprint made by a Jagiellonian bookbinders finishing roll that most probably shows King Sigismund I the Old (or Albrecht I Hohenzollern) and Bona Sforza. The volume under scrutiny has been found in the book collections of the former Seminary Library, now held in the collections of the Archdiocese Archives in Gniezno. While investigating the imprint made by the roll and the provenance entries for the volume, the present author attempts to determine the time and place of origination of the tool. Further on in the article three other volumes are presented whose bindings might have been made at the same binding shop. An analysis of the bindings has made it possible to determine the probable time and place where the book binder used the Jagiellonian roll in question.
