Abstract

The Author deals with the experience gained during the introducing of the new principles of management in the Polish machinery industry, in 1973 -1976. He has also used the recent results' of studies in this matter conducted at the Institute of Socio -Economic Studies in the Central School for Planning and Statistics in Warsaw as well as at the Institute for Management in Machinery Industry. The Author describes the disadvantages of the former management systems and the advantages of the new one.
