Interpolacyjna metoda określania zapotrzebowania na siłę roboczą w wielkich zakładach przemysłowych

Abstract

This article deals wilt the possibility of determination the amount of manpower demand in a large industrial plants. The reason for studying such problems is the present situation on the labour market characterized by restricted amount of manpower. This means that manpower demand should be closely related with work efficiency. In this paper the following methodologic attempt is presented, namely classical and interpolation methods. Both methods are verified using empirical statistical informations collected in some industrial plant in Poznań (Poland 1976). It has been proved that Lagrange interpolation polynomial used for interpolation and extrapolation of manpower employment is the suitable mathematical tool for such studies.
