Abstract

Assuming that organisation of labour is an essential factor increasing productivity of labour the writer of the article points to the main present-day trends in the development of scientific organization of labour (NOP) in the industries of the Soviet Union. He points out that adequate forms of organization of labour play an important role in the era of scientific and technological revolution. Therefore not unlimited division of labour but linking the functions of labour and professions under conditions of mechanization and automatization foster growth of productivity of labour best. Another element favourable to growth of productivity of labour is organization of work—stands and system of their operating. Conditions of work that make it more interesting and safer have also a great influence on the growth of productivity of labour.
