Abstract

The author discusses: 1) the influence of organized control of wages fund, known as the corrective system, on the structure of cost and effects of production, as well on the adjustment of the wage fund to the planned distribution of national income, 2) the causes of inefficiency of this system. Simply speaking the functioning of the corrective system in the whole economy leads to a simultaneous stimulating of additional wages fund of the workers and limiting of the supply of consumption goods. In the author's opinion the corrective system is not in accordance with the basic principle of the functioning of monetary mechanism in distribution of products in balanced conditions; and from the macroeconomical point of view it is not possible within the present conceptions of control and the directive character of the wages fund.
