Ewolucja zagrożenia dżihadystycznego a przemiany demokratyczne w państwach Maghrebu

Abstract

W artykule skupiono się na przedstawieniu aktualnego etapu ewolucji zagrożenia dżihadystycznego na obszarze Afryki Północnej. Wskazano najważniejsze grupy terrorystyczne wchodzące w skład salafickiego ruchu globalnego dżihadu, szczególne miejsce przypisując Al-Kaidzie w Islamskim Maghrebie (AKIM). Przedstawione zostały strategiczne cele grupy oraz najważniejsze przykłady jej aktywności. Skupiono się także na wyartykułowaniu najważniejszych powodów braku zaangażowania AKIM w przemiany społeczno-polityczne w świecie arabskim po 2011 r.The paper focuses on the presentation of the current stage of the evolution of the jihadist threat in the area of North Africa. It identifies the main terrorist groups belonging to the global Salafi-jihadist movement. A special role within this movement has been assigned to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). The paper presents the strategic objectives of the group and the most important examples of its activity. The author also discusses the main reasons for the lack of involvement of AQIM in the socio-political changes in the Arab world after 2011.
