Abstract

A theoretical analysis of the equity problem has been taken up in the article after consideration — on the ground of literature studies — of basic statements and reconstructions of the Marxist equity concept. This analysis has been performed from the point of view of social justice and principles of division adequate to socialist economy. Such questions, particularly, become the subject of interests as: what is equity and social justice and what is their place among values belonging to axiological and economic systems of Marxism; what is the inter-relation between these ideas within the context of division and how are the problems of the ideas realization to requirements and possibilities resulting from the principle of economic effectiveness. Stating some gaps in the theory and answering part by in the above questions the author points out among others the necessity not only of recognition of eideenities but also of seperaltion of scopes between the equity and social justice. He proclaims himself in favour of juistice recognition — in division questions — as an equity criterion (and not vice versa) and shows basic relationships that occur among discussed ideas in the sphere of their accomplishment.
