Abstract

Many of the economic problems encountered in non-productive activities are controversial and require discussion being entirely new they are difficult to solve. The problems most frequently discussed are those concerned with methods of planning and financing non-productive activities. The article deals with the newest tendencies revealed in the discussion which is at present taking place in Poland on the subject of financing non-productive activities. The following questions are being raised: financial sources for non-productive activities, payments for social and cultural services, financing the services from the financial resources of the companies, organization frame for service activities, use of the bill of costs for conducting those activities and methods of planning non-productive services. The above issues have been analyzed with particular emphasis on the views which might be of special interest and importance for practical activities in the field of social and cultural services.
