Podemos jako „partia-ruch”

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono genezę i sposób funkcjonowania hiszpańskiej partii politycznej Podemos, która powstała w roku 2014 i szybko uzyskała znaczącą pozycję w hiszpańskim systemie politycznym. Partia ta zazwyczaj określana jest jako ugrupowanie należące do nurtu populistycznego. W artykule przedstawione zostały argumenty na rzecz potraktowania Podemos jako emanacji hiszpańskiego ruchu społecznego znanego jako Ruch 15-M i tym samym zasadności analizowania jej również przy użyciu kategorii teoretycznej „partii-ruchu”, zaproponowanej przez Herberta Kitschelta. Zastosowanie tej kategorii nie oznacza negacji populistycznego charakteru Podemos, natomiast pozwala na bardziej precyzyjne uchwycenie specyfiki tego ugrupowania.The article presents the origin and activity of the new Spanish political party, Podemos. This party was established in 2014 and quite quickly gained an important position in the Spanish political and party system. Podemos is usually qualified as populist. In the article, the author argues that Podemos can be viewed as a manifestation of the Spanish social movement named the 15-M Movement, and thus it can also be analyzed using the theoretical category of “movement party,” proposed by Herbert Kitschelt. While not denying the populist qualification of Podemos, this category allows more precise characteristics of this party to be captured.
